Oh.My.Agod.
Arghhhaghhhhh! I mean….Wow. Does that not just blow your mind?
I owe this epic discovery to Scranto.

Thankyouthankyouthankyou, Scranto
Now, it’s pretty much standard knowledge that the go-to order here is the “secret” off-the-menu item: Cheeseburger, Animal-style. For animal virgins, “Animal-style” simply means that your burger is topped with finely diced fried onions and a deliciously creamy, ketchup/mayo-based special sauce.
What I didn’t know until last weekend…was that you can order your FRIES Animal-style as well! Yes, your wildest fantasies have come true. Your crispy, fresh-cut potatoes can be smothered in melted cheese, fried onion confetti, and magical special sauce.
There you have it, folks. Get animalistic with me.

View from the house – life is good.

This is a sign: I first heard about ‘animal-style’ fries just a day ago from another blogger and now you’ve confirmed that it does indeed exist in true-life, delicious form! I was happy enough just to have finally eaten at an In-N-Out; now, I’ve got an excuse to start plotting a return to CA just for this.
do it do it!
We stopped at In N’ Out too! Animal style fries are the bomb. Perfect way to end a Tahoe weekend

Complaint: Can you use a prettier picture of me?

I’m literally speechless. I can’t believe how good these fries look!
haha i know. they are SO GOOD. you don’t need to say a word. just get to your nearest in-n-out and stuff your mouth with them.
Oh how i miss my animal style fries. The gooey present and the cold and congealed future.
Animal fries are my husband’s favorite.
I think this is one of those wonderful cases where the worse a food looks, the better it tastes!
I made it a mission on my first solo trip to the US two years ago to try In-N-Out, and despite not being a burger lover, it was certainly quite good! Wish I’d known about these fries, though…
Lord almighty! Who knew? Man, I wish I had an In-N-Out nearby. Craving them now. Thanks so much for enlightening me!
