Favorite cheap eats in NY. When I walk in and inhale the scent of freshly roasted duck, and hear the deadly chop of a flashing knife against a butchering block, I know that all is ok in the world.

Recipe inspired by Bar Stuzzichini's Maccheroni alla Chitarra: the creamy, thick sauce and homemade pasta was rich and comforting. The lemon zest reminded me of Sicily, the pistachios added crunch & interest.
