Happy Friday, friends!
Phew! What a week it has been. First off, I just need to say…you guys are just awesome. I have gotten so much wonderful feedback and shout outs and high-fives about Appetites, I am just feelin the love, peoples! You rock. Thanks to your support, Appetites is App of the Week on iTunes, yayy! If you’ve had the chance to check it out, please leave a review 🙂
OK, now on to some Friday Freebie sugar.
Today we are featuring a kickass local SF company called Droga Confections. We totally fell for their homemade chocolate treats at the Fancy Food Show a few months ago, particularly, their sassily named Put Your Money on Honey salted caramel chews.
Soft and chewy, Put Your Money on Honey is made with Northern California wildflower honey, giving them an unexpected lovely floral sweetness. The honey caramel chews are then enrobed in premium Guittard dark chocolate, and sprinkled with French fleur de sel. They’re handmade with love and 100% natural ingredients in small batches.
Droga Confections was started by Michelle Crochet, who realized that her addiction to her mother’s salted peanut rocky road recipe had to be shared with the world. In fact, droga means “drug” in Italian. Fans will attest to the fact that their chocolate confections are like crack. (Just…need…another!). Non-SF addicts take heart, earlier this month, Droga hit the shelves at Williams-Sonoma across the country.
To win this box of Droga Confections’ Put Your Money on Honey, leave a comment here telling me: What’s your droga of choice? What are you obsessed with? What can’t you live without? Is it your morning coffee, made just so? Ben & Jerry’s by the pint? PB spread over perfect slices of apples (I’m lookin at you, friend who has other “vices” like marathon-training).
Giveaway deadline is Thursday 3/3, 11:59 pm PST. (Contest is open to US residents only. Winner will be selected by a random number generator.)
Disclosure: This giveaway was made possible via free sample and giveaway donation by Droga Confections.
