I adapted my favorite healthy snacking cookie into a cookie recipe that will help nursing mamas boost/maintain their milk supply. The Brewer’s yeast is the main active ingredient that make this a “lactation” cookie. You can barely taste it. Feel free to omit it if you’re looking for a delicious healthy cookie recipe and don’t need the milk boost :)
A humble cut of pork shoulder gets an umami-rich marinade and a 24-hour soak in the sous vide which renders it meltingly tender. The pork literally falls apart with the prod of a fork. It then gets sprinkled with brown sugar and blasted under the broiler to mimic that charred sweetness reminiscent of true Vietnamese street food eats. BYO little red stool.
This pavlova cake is the loveliest of lovelies. Light yet luxurious, and a textural delight, you’ll be berry pleased you made this. (Gluten Free + Dairy Free)
Ribbons of shaved raw zucchini, salty kalamata olives, creamy feta, and crunchy almonds make this a show-stopping salad.
Roasted beet and garlic lend an unexpected rich sweetness to your ordinary hummus. And that color. Hello, gorgeous! This is a party-perfect dip – so easy and utterly impressive.
This bean salad is an overachiever: easy, fast, inexpensive, delicious, healthy, make ahead, AND it tastes even better as 2nd or 3rd day leftovers.
Comforting, satisfying, zero-guilt goodness. Did I mention, it only requires 3 main ingredients?
