With lines out the door, Sushi Zone is no neighborhood secret, but it sure is a gem. This charming little sushi joint has been serving up exceptionally fresh sushi and other delightful morsels for almost eleven years: Sushi, sashimi, and baked bits of deliciousness!

Inspired by this delicious appetizer at Sushi Zone, I went on a mission to recreate it. Although Sushi Zone’s is still admittedly better (must be all that fresh sashimi-grade fish they use)…this is a good do-at-home alternative.
