San Francisco Food & Wine Festival

San Francisco Food & Wine Festival

SF Chefs. Food. Wine. will be taking the city by storm next week August 6-9, bringing together the Bay Area’s most beloved chefs, winemakers, bar stars, and regional ingredients for a 4-day food and wine festival.

The event promises to be an interactive experience with more than 60 exciting demos, culinary classes, and tastes of some of the city’s most delicious offerings.

It sometimes feels like chefs are true celebs in this town they call the “epicenter of culinary innovation,” and this event is looking like a real star-studded event with luminaries such as:

Thomas Keller (The French Laundry), Nancy Oakes (Boulevard), Charles Phan (The Slanted Door), Cecilia Chiang (The Mandarin), Joyce Goldstein (Square One), Martin Yan (Yan Can Cook), Hubert Keller (Fleur de Lys), Cindy Pawlcyn (Mustards Grill), Elizabeth Falkner (Citizen Cake & Orson), Gary Danko (Gary Danko), Chris Cosentino (Incanto), Traci Des Jardins (Jardiniere & Acme Chophouse), and Michael Chiarello (Food Network’s Easy Entertaining), among many others.

Check out this impressive event program. (I know, intense. I’m a little scared.)

Day passes to the festival and special events are available for purchase online. Each day pass grants access to the tasting tent (25 restaurants, 75 wineries, brewers, distillers, and artisans) as well as one morning and one afternoon session class. Enter our special code “friendsfamily09” for a 10% discount (because gorging should never be done alone.)

Don’t miss out on this event – your stomach will never forgive you.
